Last night in michigan we got pounded by storms....well my street flooded and when i went out to my car this mornin the entier passenger side of my car is absolutly drenched then when i started my car the Air bag light stayed on.......Know i figure these are connected some how... I neeed to know if they are and if the airbag thing is a cheap fix or a dealership fix....Where is the air bag sensor or why is it on?

Not good.....The air bag computer is under the pass side seat under the carpet. I bet the computer got wet and will need to be replaced.

first you should have the system scanned to make sure thats what the problem is. Although by what you said about the water, I would think thats it. Sometimes you can find a airbag system on e-bay. You could check a junk yard as it would be cheaper then the dealer. As for replacing it, I would think it would be a pain. I think the seat has to be removed and the carpet has to be pulled up.
