I just bought a Borla cat back exhaust from nosweat 83 and i need to find out which one of these headers would fit my 01 2.4L alero?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-Racing-...sspagenameZWDVW
and here's the other one.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-Racing-...sspagenameZWDVW
if anyone knows of anykind of headers that would give better performance, and will fit, please let me know.
Also, I found the thermostats on pfyc.com, but they do not sell the ones for the 2.4L, they only sold the ones that will fit the V6. Does anybody know where I could find good thermostats for the 2.4L engine?(Ones that do the same job as the ones on pfyc.com or better)
Thanks
Shane

Anything made for the 2.4L engine will fit on Aleros with the 2.4L engine. So they will both fit.
As for the thermostat...I don't know.

your current thermostat is perfectly fine. you won't be finding gains with the thermostat... save your money and the headache of getting to the waterpump.

I understand, but should my alero be running at a temperature where it is in the middle/ almost 3/4 up? I live in Pa, and its been cold as hell here the past 2 months.....

AHHH I really butchered this topic up,sorry on my 2 websites of the headers shown, the one is much more money than the other one. Now if they both will fit my alero, which one is better?

exactly. Just one of them is pictured 'already assembled.' when it comes to 2 things that are exactly the same, just go with the cheaper one. *factor in shipping costs too.

the stock 2.4 t-stat is 180 deg. the only reason for the v-6 one is bvecause theirs is a stock 195 so by going to a 180 the engine runs cooler.
so stay stock thermostat on the 2.4
