signs of what engine problem?
irratic idle only sometimes at a dead stop will jumo just a tiny bit up down not carzy. also sometimes when im driving if i let off the gas slowly it will hesitate as if its going to stall but never does. idk if these are linked issues or not? also i have had a full tuneup new fuel filter use premuim gas tried 87 also. clean air filter basically everything routine maitnence is clean or new. throttle body clean, fuel injectors clean, what you think can be possible things? never have a starting issue or stalling issue no ses lights any ideas?

its not the gas, but you are wasting money on premium unless you are tuned for it.
MAF? IAT? idk for sure i'm just throwing out ideas

then there is nothing you can do to better your engine then doing a top end swap, increased TB size, exhaust, headers and tuned PCM

If by irratic idle you mean the car shaking at a dead stop, it could be the engine mount. Does it get better when you put the car in neutral during a dead stop?

if your car runs like shit on the octane fuel it was designed for, there's a problem, and your higher octane fuel is a poor band-aid

that soundsl like a bad mount if it goes away in neutral cause thats when the engine shake would go away.
