Just watch how you are putting bondo where the speakers will sit, its way easier to make sure you don't get out of level then to try and fix it.. Is that strait bondo or are you mixing it with resin too? How many layers did you do your glass?

Didn't take any shots of the fiberglass it has three layers on the back and two on the front and the final coat of bondo will be a thin layer mixed with resin. The pods are pretty solid I can't dent them at all by pressing on them. I have paid close attention the whole time to making sure the speaker mounts stay level.

Nice, how does it look with the door closed? Looks a little bulky.
I posted some pictures of my rear deck in the Ohio car shows thread.

First pic is at a bad angle and the second one is just to show the clearance.

No problem, but its really not that hard if you have a power sander and a dremel. Otherwise all you need is some painters tape, resin, hardener, fiberglass mat, paintbrushes, bondo, spot putty, wooden dowels, and some speaker rings.

Wow, that sounds like a long list, but I think I only spent $100 on everything maybe a little less.

No I will leave the rear deck alone (besides the deadening). There aren't any speakers back there anyway.

Thanks man

The only other things I have planned for the appearance are some lowering springs, 18" wheels and some tint.

I have installed silver coated amber bulbs in both the parking and signal lights. I'll get some pics once it stops raining. Also bought some cheapo hyper white high and low beam lights off eBay for 12.50 shipped and I'm actually quite impressed.
