How are the strips glowing so much? Did you use a flash?

It would look awesome if our tails actually lit up that way.

that is really sweet. How did you do that, just tape off the strips??

That gave me an idea, if thats all you did how would doing what you did and also having the strips on the outside of the lights look???

you just tape off the strips before doing it, really not that hard just takes a little bit of patiences. took me longer to do that then tinting my tails

yes there is an empty pin hole on the trunk mounted bulb socket. i took a piece of wire and stripped the casing back about 2 inches, folded it, and stuck it in the pin hole. then i just used some silicone to keep the wire in place. after that you just run the two wires to the power wire for the third brake light, tap into it and done. you have to change the bulb to a 3157 though because it obviously needs to be a dual filament.

yes its pretty thin, i would recommend using hot glue rather then silicone as previously mentioned, the cure time for silicone is way too long for that job.

i agree hot glue would be faster. reason i used silicone was my car was going to be sitting for a few days and i figured the silicone would last longer.

if you look at the bulb plug for the inner tail light you will see an empty hole with no wires going into it. i folded the wire just to make sure it would make good contact inside the plug
