Led's In The Door - Page 2

i know its been a while on this thread but, i just had my door panel off and have been thinking about this for a long time, would it be possible to power a few leds for this from the light in the lock/unlock switch? im putting an led in that and this just happened to come to mind...

no harm in trying. I can't see why not, as long as its not very many.

the halogen bulb (stock) pulled more power than a few leds would.

thats what i was thinking, I really like how that looks I just didnt want to do all the wiring through to door and stuff. I'll replace the stock one and add 2 or 3 probably, do a bit testing before i actually put them in. I'll let you know how it works out.

the switch one, can only be replaced with one. (superbrightleds.com has exact replacements)

the doors...i'd suggest 3.

IT WORKS!!! for the switch one i was able to use one i had, it fit in snug and i took power for it all directly from the plug I have 2 in the cubby area and put one at the top of the tweeter dome. will probably make a how to later and upload some pics. should just be able to copy and paste a link to this on a new thread right? thanks a ton for the idea and and everything on here!
