New Rims Anything I should Do before Putting ON. I just want the best smooth ride I can get. Whats some of the things you all do before putting them on.

if you are talking suspension mods ill tell you right now..any sport suspension is going to be more harsh than stock. and same goes for getting bigger wheels.

i have to agree with derek on this. there ain't nothing you can do. just pretend your ride is smooth, or after so long, you will get used to it and it will seem like you have a smooth ride.

i always wax everysingle part of my rim in and out before putting them on...makes the insides clean up really easily and looking good all summer long.

depending on where you get your rims from they usually come already waxed. i know tirerack does it on their wheels as do oettinger, lorinser, brabus, etc.. (the high end wheels)

I dunno when I got my rims the backs werent fitting completely over the axle so i had to bore them out a bit but right now my ride is mad smooth with 18's and intrax springs. I did give them a big kiss and pray to mecca though so that probably helped in the process!!

don't forget to make sure that your muffler bearings are finger tight, as well. mine were rubbing until i loosened them. now it's super smooth.
