LD9 fan not working

So I solved my noise. It was a combination of bad alternator (died yesterday) and the compressor pulley/clutch.

Now in addition I have noticed now that the cooling fan does not come on at all, hence no A/C. Its pouring rain now but tomorrow I will check the fuse but that seems too simple. I assume it's just one relay to control the fan? Anyone have any issues with that in the past? I don't have a repair manual yet for the car so sorry if questions seem basic. I will test the fans off the battery but I don't think they are culprit. Lastly, where is the coolant temp sensor and how is it replaced?

On my 2002 there are two fuses (8-30A and 52-15A)and three relays (12, 14, and 15) for the two cooling fans and high/low mode. All are under the hood.
