I just had my CD8445 installed tonight, and when I go to put a CD in, I hear something working, but nothing happens - is there something you have to do before it'll accept CDs or is it broken? I know there's somebody here that works for Eclipse - maybe he has some insight?
Thanks,
Collin

Yeah,
I had Car Toys install it - I'm going to be calling Eclipse as soon as they open (another hour or so) to ask them about it. So there's a wire that might be involved? Any idea which one it would be?
Thanks,
Collin

It doesn't sound like a wire. The only two wires that have to be hooked up are 12 volt aux and ground. Does it display a error message? I think 000 or 001 is not except disk. If you get no error and your ESN doesn't show up then I would say your lazer is not working. Good luck with it. I am suprised that car toys didn't do a quick check of the HU after installing it. They shouldn't put a radio in a car broke and then expect for the customer to wait for a warranty.
