Swapping the HU

I know it's kind of a n00b question. But my dads selling off his 02 Sonoma and he's got a nice eclipse deck in there. Does anyone know how to get inside the dash so I can get the deck out and put the factory one back in?

Also... anyone know how to take the OEM one out of my grandpas Alero so I can put the Eclipse in the 'ho? Also are the wiring harnesses and dash kits the same?

I would call crutchfield to see if the harness would work or not. I can't help with getting the stock one out because i still have mine in.

your deck should have came with two little puller things to pull it out of the mounting kit

mine did.. check the eclipse box

I can't really call crutchfield since they're not available in Canada.

The eclipse would only have the wiring harness for the deck but theres one to connect to the OEM plug so you don't have to solder the wires and what not. Wondering about that one.
