Amp dies

Hey guys, I turned on my stereo today, and after about 10 minutes the amp just decides to kill over. I checked all the fuses, wires, and switches and they're all fine. Hooked the amp up to a benchtop power supply and same deal...No go. I opened the amp up expecting to smell a burnt diode or something harsh, and nothing. I looked over the IC's, diodes, and resistors and didn't see anything unusual. Anyone ever had this problem before? If anything, I'm just going to sell it or give it away to whoever want to pay shipping for it, but I want to see what ya'll had to say, even if you're interested in taking it off my hands (Ryan maybe?)...Any clues?

It's an American Legacy LA2098, and I've got some pictures up on image shack if anyone wants to take a look (all hi res though)

Just a note: Most of the time you have a component failure you aren't necessarily going to smell it. If you really want to fix it your going to have to trace the voltage back with a voltmeter. Divide the amp in to blocks and troubleshot each block. Would help a great deal if you had a schematic, because it usually shows test points. Hopes this helps alittle and sorry I couldn't do more. Good Luck!

Well its a Legacy amp, they tend to live short lifes.

The amp isnt worth fixing. If everything been good for some time and now all the sudden its dying, just time for a new amp.

If you want another cheap amp then mycarjams.com is the place for you, but if you want a quality amp you better put alittle more money into it. Thats not to say you can't buy a decent amp at a discounted price if you look hard enough. Maybe a member on here can help post under the Bazare under want to buy.
