I Have a 2000 Alero GLS V6
Alright here is the problem.
Put a set of Red Street Glow Gold Series NEONS on Saturday.
They work Great except now my Service Engine Soon; ABS & Trac Off Lights come on. Only when the neon’s are on.
If I leave the NEONS off the dummy lights never come back on.
Now I have installed hundreds of under car kits in the past and never have had this happen before.
Went over all the wiring twice just to see if I did something wrong. But every thing is fine.

I'm clueless. Any Ideas????

You didn't somehow tap into any wiring for either the wheel sensor or the O2 sensor, did you? ABS and trac off usually mean wheel sensor, but that is usually coupled with the service VEHICLE light. I think we determined that if the ABS, trac off, and sevice ENGINE lights come on, it has to do with the O2 sensor. Don't ask me why, that just seems to be how it is.

if u just tapped into ur distribution block id just unhook the power and ground and reconnect it. see what happens.

Might be a coincidence. If you don't want to go to your dealer, go to autozone. They will read engine codes for free.
