A Belated Introduction
Hi. I'm Mike. Live in West Virginia. I've been on here for about a month now and just getting around to doing this lol. It's been crappy weather here, so couldn't get the car all shined up for photos. Well Sunny day has arrived! So here we go! Haven't done much to her as of yet, plug wires and Magnaflow custom built exhaust, but that's about it.

As far as I know OnStar didn't come on the Alero's. OnStar has however come out with something new called OnStar FMV (For my vehicle). It's an aftermarket rearview mirror that you install and is compatible with most makes and models giving cars that didn't come equipped with OnStar the opportunity to have the OnStar service.

Well, it's my version of on-star FMV lol. It was out of a Sillouette (sp). Had to do A LOT of wiring changes to make it work, but I have a degree in electrical engineering. That helped! It worked very well until the Factory CD player quit working. When I put my Aftermarket in, no more on*star. Oh, well. Waste of time and money. But lesson learned, and I will never do it again! lol

why wouldnt it work with the aftermarket radio?...

It is wired into the factory head unit, and just didn't feel like doing more wiring lol. Bought the whole harness from ebay and made it work. Would have to re-wire alot more for the aftermarket opion.

It would be pretty cool for it to work though... Finding spare time is always such a pain for that stuff though

Yes it is! Work a 50 hours a week and have three kids to parent! Hardly ever have extra time! Did get my valve covers powder coated yesterday, and my daughter is going to put them on for me! She's 11! lol Pics to come!

Exterior wise that has to be one of the cleanest ones I've seen as of late. Nice job on keepin it that sharp. I know all too well what it takes to keep one looking good like that! I'm pretty new around here myself, and a GA owner...lol, but WELCOME!
