good point..... my next car is gonna be the new malibu. i already have plans to shave the reverse lights on the trunk lid and just leave the ones on the outside.

i usually dont like the sound a 4 banger makes.....but those sound real good. the interiors are too boring/all plastic in those. not a huge fan of that. plus the malibu has a 6 cylinder 252hp engine and the interior is nice on them.

so is this going to be the 3400 performance thread then? cause if it is i have a question i was on grandamgt.com and a guy said pacesetter is coming out with headers for the 3400 at a more competitive price then s&s
i was wondering if anyone else heard about this

hey! i've got some big plans in the works. oh and i installed my own kyb's and eibachs... that's kinda performance.. kinda? i just have to save up the 550 for my race ported heads, 300 for the new TB, and 100 to get my intake ported and polished i'm almost there!

Considering there are no other options, I guess you can say its the best. Its not a $3000 aftermarket ECM that would need a $900 trans controller, so now it just got cheap too....
Pacesetter quality leaves much to be desired.

Mine should be there once I get it running on all 6 cylinders. I figure I'm leaving at least 80HP on the table with only 4 cylinders having compression.

Either blown headgasket(s) or bad rings, or a combination of the two. Motor is coming back out.
A.S.S isn't happening for me this year.

Why are you pulling the motor for a head gasket? I would think pulling the heads off first would be easier than pulling the motor. Besides that, you can put some oil through the spark plug hole and see if the rings are the problem.
