Good stuff man ...
Just so I understand; Do we need to buy rotors ourselves or can we get them thru Kore3?

Looks pretty slick (other than CORVETTE) written down the side of an alero's caliper. (its a personal preference, i know)

Well, this is one of the first complete C6 front setup anyone has retro-fitted to the Alero. One or two other members (from Canada) has retro-fitted a C6 Z06 setup, but little is known about the details on how it was done. Plus, I think a C6 Z06 setup is completely overkill (not too mention the components are much heavier, and I needed to fit behind 17" wheels.
Most other commonly-available front brake kits use 12" Camaro rotors; these are nearly 13", and despite their size, they are lighter than Camaro rotors.
Also, Corvette calipers are pressure-cast (Camaro calipers are gravity-cast), meaning the Corvette caliper is lighter and stiffer, yielding better performance.
My old Baer 13" brakes used an older-tech C4 calipers, which would flex on me under heavy braking on track days.
To each their own on the logo; KORE3 can get you the exact same caliper without the Corvette logo if you want.

If you buy your own, you'll have to (or find someone to) drill them for the smaller bolt pattern.
Or you can get them (already modified) from KORE3.

I'll find out from Tobin when the kit will be made available on their website.

Probably would be a good idea for him to make the hoses available as an option to buy with them..
He does know these brackets will most likely fit a plethora of other GM vehicles, right?

Any updates on when they will have everything up on their site?
I need to replace brakes soon and prefer not to do things twice

Finally got the bajo bolts for the new rear calipers - had to go to the dealership 'cause I couldn't locate M10x1.0mm banjo bolts anywhere. All the parts stores only stock coarse thread stuff.
Just gotta make a few modifications to fit the rear C6 caliprs, and then bleed everything.
God willing, I'll finish up this weekend.

I'm still bedding in the pads and seasoning the rotors, but so far, so good.
The initial pedal feel is a bit softer than I'm used to, which may be due to 2 factors:
1. Increaded piston size - my old Baer calipers used 2 x 38mm pistons, while the new front calipers use 2 x 40.5mm pistons
2. I might still have some air in the system somewhere; I might have half-assed the bleed job.
I really haven't been able to test the performance on them, which should be at least on par with my Baers. The 1 piece front rotors are 2lbs. heavier (each!) than my old 2-piece rotors, so I may upgrade those later (a hard pill to swallow at $500 per rotor! But otherwise, I'm happy.

2 lbs doesn't seem that bad when you consider they're thicker.
Aren't the Baer's 1.1" thick and the C5s 1.25" thick?

Yes, exactly right.
I talked some more with Tobin, and the factory Alero piston is 60.3mm, which compared to the area of twin 40.5mm pistons, the new caliper had about 10% less piston area so the pedal should be very close to or a touch firmer then a bone-stock setup.
So either my bleed job was bad or I'm just used to the older calipers which had even smaller pistons.
