magnuson kit
So, i was just looking at the magnuson kit that i picked up at SEMA this year, and I realized to myself, it would not be that hard to put together another magnuson supercharger kit with off the shelf parts, i could use 90% catalog parts, and only have to fab up 2 parts, not to mention it would be much more streamlined then the original kit, and if you started with blower size you could even use a new TVS blower in place of the m62......
now granted i'm not sure on prices, and now i'm not gonna do it, because i'm still focues on the whipple, but i just wanted to point out, it would not be that hard.....

k, so you are looking at one inlet, a nose drive, an m90 or m62 from a junkyard,
what is left is the outlet flow with mounting bracket, shaft mounting bracket (i am having several made as we speak) and maybe a couple little things like possible extension of tb cable, tb adapter plate.....

I was hoping for information pertaining to using a TVS style blower with some exsisting M62 parts. That would be win.

hmm, well i'm not gonna waste my time or money with a maggie, but when the whipple is done, i may be willing to fab up a couple extra kits. We will see........

lookingat the spec sheets they are much bigger than the m62, like a minimum 1.5 taller, and 2 in. longer and only get bigger from there!!! Which is a lot considering that my whipple, which rapes even an m90 is actually about the same height and an inch shorter in length than the m62....

I too express interest in this setup but I'm not going to offer a 100% commitment for when it does roll around - you know how cash flow fluctuates.

so i just got off the phone, if i were piecing together a maggie kit, an m112 base supercharger is $1200 plus about $400 for a custom snout, and $70 for either inlet that both bolt right up to the m112, so that's $1700 for the parts, with custom mounts and a markup, the kit would probably run around $3000 if I were going the maggie route, but i'm not, but i wanted to throw that out there just so people know....

More expensive than I was imagining, I'd probably turbo instead for the cost.
