Greetings!, Believe it or not I plan to pick up where Olds left off. With a fat wallet and patience I will drop a Northstar v8 into my Alero. I wish they would have completed the SS project to save me the hassle but hopefully the end results will be worth it!

SS project? what you talking about?

the Alero 442 had the V-8 in it and it was done by a company out in california that is big into northstar performance.

would be nice to see but the northstar is not a cheap or easy engine to play with.
we just pulled the motor out of a deville today.
never relized how damn big the trans is

honestly, for that kind of money and for that amout of work, why dont you just do the same thing springs is doing and soup up the original 3400, IMO it would be way more impressive to have a really really fast 3400 than a really really fast northstar

I was thinking the same thing when i saw this thread. New members always have "plans" but tend to change their mind. Not saying you can't do it, man, but once all the bullcrap that goes with putting that bad boy in comes into play, you might just say "Forget this", and we wouldn't blame ya B)
