turn signal freaking out

okay, I put in a new HU a couple weeks ago, and now my left turn signal is acting up. sometimes it has the normal rhythm, but sometimes it has this super hyper speed (like when a bulb is dead or if you use a LED instead of a bulb)

Anyway, I checked the bulbs, they aren't dead. I checked the fuses too. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Are you sure the bulb is all the way in/touching? Mine had that problem when my turn signal would randomly blink really fast due to the bulb being slightly loose.

hazards work just fine. I replaced that sumbitch 2 years ago. Just the LEFT turn signal is acting up, and all the bulbs are fine.

Same problem here. Started about 3 days ago. Super hyper and bulbs are ok. It starts ok, but then suddenly speeds up. I haven't checked any of the fuses or relays.

I had shit luck with the gm connectors for the turn signal bulbs, leave the signal on while the bulb is out on the drivers side, either front or rear and wiggle the wires and push them in a bit, see if it changes, the sockets for these are not the best, the spade contacts on my driver side front are not entirely secure, i've fixed them since

maybe you're in the same boat.

Check to make sure the splice pack under the hood on the drivers side is bolted to the body good. I had that happen on mine.
