Something wierd happened

Ok so today driving home from work i made a turn and all of sudden my stereo turned off and all kinds of lights came on the console like brake, trac control, security, and service engine soon and the car was still running. what causes this? I just drive home like normal and shut the car off. Im afraid to try and start it now. Should I be worried?

Might be alternator going wonky. Have your alternator check for voltage. Should be between 13.7-14.5 volts and current at 105 amps. Generally the voltage drop caused a sudden triggering of all the electrical warning lights, kills the acessories. The vehicle is setup to alway draw at least battery voltage to power the essentials system (PCM, ECU, BCM, DIS). HAve that checked first.

Did you use a can of compressed air, turned upside down, to repair a dent in your fender??
