Ok so what i got is just a standard plain screen that flips out of the dash. Also i have a deck that plays cds/mp3s/dvds and is a tv tuner. they're both the size of a standard deck (single din). Does anyone have a setup like this where they were able to fit both of this items in the stuck location with some custom work. I know i am going to have to fiberglass or something around them once they're in to get it to look right. But i need to know how i should go about making a backet to custom mount them in there since the only bracket made that i know of is for the single deck with the cubby beneath it. I've been racking my brain trying to think of something so hopefully some of this will make sense to someone because i need help. PICTURES please.

Alright, i'm going to try and explain what I did to the best of my ability without confusing you. I mounted the flip-out screen in the stock head unit place with a standard deck mount. Then i took the reciever(cd/dvd/mp3 player) and mounted that in the glove compartment with another standard deck mounting kit you can get at any parts store or maybe even target or wallmart. Here are some pictures of what I did. Feel free to ask if you have any more quetsions.

One more thing I forgot to menting, my flip-out screen didnt fit snug into the stock head unit place so I had to cut some of the trim off the back side of the center console so it would fit flush all the way around. You cant see it when you're looking at the screen but when I take it off to put a coat of paint on it or for whatever other reason, you notice that some of it is cut away. I hope that helps.

if you take the glove compartment out of its little cubby, and put the mouting kit right inside of it, it fits like a glove. Then just drill some holes into the side and your good to go. The only thing you see is the deck itself. Clean as sh*t.

The brand is Innovatek, cheap right? but it saved me a LOT of money for the same results. I couldn't be happier with the appearance of the screen when I'm watching movies(parked of course...lol), i mean its not the same quality as a 2,000 screen you get at your local car audio place but it works for what I need and it was cheap. I pretty much paid next to nothing for this thing and I love it.

I can fit 4 DVD cases under the dvd player deck in the glover compartment.

And yes, the glove compartment still shuts, thats the main reason why i put it in there so I could shut it and lock it at night. A little extra security.

thats a negative, it will show it for a couple seconds then it will dissapear. But 30 seconds later a "screen saver" will pop up. It's all good.

if your dvd player didnt come with a wiring harness, you an go to any local car audio or performance shop and pick one up. They'll know what your talking about. Mine came with all the necessary cables and what not so i just plugged and played. Let me know if you have any more questions. i'll gladly tear my dash apart if you need some behind the scenes pictures. Let me know.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW WTF COULD BE !?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I have everything installed now. But they had to leave my cd player in so that i can have sound cause the dvd player nor the screen had audio outputs but i was cool with that cause that way i dont have to open the glovebox to change music cd's. BUT

WTF the dvd palyer wont play dvd's right. If i play a dvd that i have bought in a store...it will play for 2-4 min ok ...and then the picture goes away and the screen says no signal but the dvd audio will keep going. AND the even more confusing part....the dvd player will play all of the 10-15 min dvd's that i have made and burnt myself just fine.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW WTF COULD BE WRONG???????!?!?!?!?!?!

Does the video go away around the same time you put your car in drive? If so then you need to ground the parking wire comming off of the dvd player. It will shut off any video and keep playing audio if you start driving if that's what the problem is.
