Car Security

i'm looking for an after market security system with a remote started and i want to know what is the best kind to get. Looking to spend about $300 on the system not including install. If you have on of these systems in your car how much did you pay to have it installed?

They've all been talked about on here many times. But I have the Viper 791XV (best one in the viper line, and in my opinion, the entire DEI line). It was $200 new on ebay but another $220 to get it installed at Best Buy. Get a battery backup siren and pain sirens as well. Well worth the extra $$ I think.

Yep I have same exact one. I just replace the remote with the carbon fiber Clifford tho because I like it better. Otherwise awesome remote.

Viper 791XV is the s h i t......I am an installer for Best Buy and we install these all the time it's remote start/keyless/and security unit with 2way LCD paging. It has amazing range and absolutely everything you could want in a system. It runs about $500 installed at Best Buy and is worth EVERY penny. I had one on my Alero
