Sirius Satellite Radio

Does anyone on here have a satellite radio permanently mounted? I've got a Sirius Sportster I'd like to mount somewhere, but I haven't yet devised a way to do so. If anyone has some input that would be great! I don't want to cut my dash up.

Thanks!

My satellite radio is factory, but i have my cell phone mounted to one of these brackets that would work fine for your purpose.

I like that http://www.panavise.com/ one the best. I've also used the one from http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/ but it sits kinda low and can get in the way of the passenger (I still have it too). There's also one from http://www.proclipusa.com/ but i don't really like the way that one looks.

Yep, thats exactly what I want, but I didn't realize one was made specially for an Alero. I might go down to the local cell phone place and see if they can order me one. I used a similar bracket in my Achieva.

Thanks!!

Well, I've done just as I said, and they were able to order me a mount!

Heres a picture of it so far.

I'm going to go back to the same place and see if they sell a little swivel, because as it sits right now, I have a hard time getting my CD player's face off, since the radio is blocking it from folding all the way down. So I can't get a CD in and out without removing the face.

If I get a swivel mount it'll hold it further away from the deck, and I can swivel it if I need to.

Just thought I'd update!

I mounted mine in the cubby hole in the console. I have a Sirius xact replay (just like the sportster IR). Mine is not as tall as yours. I made a plexiglass mount, heated it to have the same shape as the bend of the cubby hole, covered it with tan vinyl, and now it blends in with the interior very nicely.

However, I no longer have a cubby hole to put pens and stuff in.

I know, but I don't wanna pay 40 bucks canadian for a bunch of stuff I don't need, when I can get the swivel for probably 10 bucks somewhere else. If they don't carry a swivel where I got the mount, then I might buy the best buy kit.
