Okay, I read as much as I could find on here and GAGT and I figure two cuts in the stock exhaust to get it out. I'd like to only two clean cuts so that the stock exhaust could be used again sometime.

Where did you guys make the cuts? I know most of you had it done at a shop, so you might not know where it was cut, but hopefully some people did it themselves... My dad and I have got all the equipment I'd need, and I'm just trying to avoid that "ah, crap...I can't get this piece out...now I gotta cut it again" scenario. :P

Yea, I was wonderin the same thing. I plan on keepin the stock setup as well. I can let ya know in spring when I tackle that mod. My advise would be just be carefull and wise. If you hafta hack(which im sure u do somewhere or another) hack where it would be easiest to weld back.

I cut right before and after the bends in the piping, so it comes off in three easy to remove pieces, but it really doesn't matter.

Ohh yeah i used a small electric saw, it came off very quick. Remove the bolts at the front of the car by the cat then the piping will be disconnected in the front. Keep your stock bolts, then cut where ever you want from there back, its not hard to remove your stock exhaust at all, then remove the hooks from the hangers, but leave the stock rubber hangers on the car. Its harder then it sounds removing the hangers, i used some hammers and punches, then when putting your new exhaust in there use some grease and they'll slide in real easy. The whole install is a piece of cake. Shouldn't take more then an 1 1/2 for a newbie.
