So I finally got my system all back in order, and when I am listening to the radio, it fades in and out and sounds really staticy. I mentioned this both to the dealer and the Ultimate Electronic installer who installed it. The dealer said the antenna wire looked fine, but the Ultimate installer said it was cut when the theives stole my radio. I dont know who to believe at this point. The antenna wire looked non-cut, but the end piece that connects to the deck was missing, but there was still a small metal peice on it. I dont know what to do next, but ask you guys! What do you all think? If you need any thing else let me know. THANKS

Justin

well first of all. make sure they hooked up the power antenna lead(if you have an aftermarket deck). otherwise, make em fix it till it's right.

Hey...I used to work at the St. Cloud store (back when it was open :P ) did the installer actually show you the antenna plug and what it is supposed to look like? because if it is different (ie damaged), you may need to run a new antenna plug...which will cost a little bit more money...but just keep taking it back to UE because they warranty their installs for as long as YOU own the car.

Its an aftermarket. I saw the antenna wire, but it looked nothing like how I remember them looking. I might bring it back and have them look at it again, but the guy was a moron, saying my car was an PITA because of all the new parts (they were replaced after being damaged) but who knows. Everything should be alright, i also had an alarm installed, but I might take it apart and look to make sure tinfoil isnt being used to keep my antenna wire from falling out.
