Let me explain ... Struts are pressurized which provides an resistance to any force sitting on them ... the weight of the car is sitting on BOTH the springs and the struts. If the struts go bad then they will no longer provide that resistance to the weight which will cause more compression of the springs. The springs will be able to hold this increased weight for a while until it they start to sag. Without the struts resistance to that the springs will get compressed more and therefore make the car sit lower.

thanks everyone, once again I try to mod my car and find something wrong lol
now struts are at the top of my list, I'll probably just wait till after winter to change the springs since I'd rather not be plowing snow
but anyway one last thing, the car's had bad struts for a while
could riding on bad struts be causing any major problems?

driving with bad struts can cause more wear to your tires, affect your braking, handling and stability.

And, no. They shouldn't cause a pull.
