I'm just wondering something.

You guys know that light that is under the AC and heat knobs in that storage area? Well, what size is that little bugger? Can it be replaced? I was just wondering...yeah.

do you have the users manual for your car? it lists bulb sizes.... the bulb is really small, i dont remember the number, and you have to take that whole piece out around the shifter and stereo to get to it.

yea, if i remember right, it's almost a non-removable light, i mean sure anything can be removed, but it's not simple like a 194, the light bothered me, so i just crushed it with some needle nosed pliers.

It would probably be easier to cut the wires and put a whole new light or LED in its place of it.

i pulled the cubbie area out, cut the wires, drilled two small holes in the top of the plastic and put black light led's in there. soldered some resistors and the wires to hot and ground and now it glows blue-ish purple at night. its really not to hard, and you can't see the led's if you look in. (unless you get right down and stare into the cubbie at eye level.... )

* i just checked my posted pics and i don't have one of the cubby... sry. pm me if you want one.

i recommend using an LED for it. because i was never able to find a replacement for the stock light.

I didn't see anything about the sizes. Heck, I don't even know that size on my own tires...it didn't say what size those were either. :: gets her ruler out of her back pack :: Would this work? Hmmm

I just put a piece of blue plastic under the light with a couple of drops of glue. Easiest 'mod' ever.
