The GP: M62 to L61 GM Throttle Body Spacer group buy is taking place right now. GM p/n 12590814. This is the OEM spacer made by the original company that made them for GM. This is the only way to get an OEM adapter, since GM discontinued the kits. This has been the piece that everyone needs and scare ppl away cause they dont have the fab skillz when they are piecing a Cobalt S/C kit. heres a link http://www.ecotecforum.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=12062
For those that might need this on the future.

People who want to supercharge their Ecotec, should definitely consider this, I already got my invoice... The price really isn't that bad.

Crate Engine Depot still has the GM supercharger kits for Cavalier/Sunfire 2.2 Ecotec in stock (leftovers), I e-mailed them today and got a response back in a few hours telling me that they have "plenty in stock." If anyone is interested it'll cost you about $2500 shipped. Just a heads up for people that were looking.

If only I didn't get charged tax on it...
FYI.. Crate engine depot changed ownership from Lattoff Chevrolet which was one of the GM dealers that got closed to Rockenbach Chevrolet.

@ $2500 hmm I could buy a used m62 from a Balt or Redline, HP Tuners with credits, a wideband gauge kit and, redo the exhaust lol the only upside to buying from crate engine depot is you're not buying used.

If they still have one by end of Summer, I will buy one regardless, I like new, unused parts..., plus its a complete kit.
Question for Vic28, I know your running on the Cavalier Supercharger tune, how's that working for you, any issues? Just asking since your the only Alero I know that's actually using the dealer tune...

The tune is running the car fine(like if is a cavy). What doesnt work on my car is the Gas gauge(believe is related with the BCM not matching a jbody). I also have the Check Vehicle Soon, which HP tuner says something about wheel spin. I think that has to do with the wheel diameter. Ill get the codes tomorrow from HPT cause I cant remember from top of my head.
As far a the tune itself, it runs pretty rich at WOT. Too rich means its robbing power. It does allow you to drop a different pulley to make some extra PSI and compensate for being too rich.
I do plan to have the car tune once I have everything on it. Im satisfied with the tune since it gave me the option to run the car like if SC came on the car, and test all my installation, plus it gave me time to buy the other stuff.

Remember that the GM reflash for the Cavaliers is locked so you'll have to go back to your alero PCM.

Anyways, I'm still looking into the supercharger kit from Crate Engine Depot or whoever else has a new complete kit, expensive I know, but I got mad overtime coming at me in the next few months, which will pay for this no problem.
I talked to a few shops in Denver area to do the tuning once I'm done with the install, and most have been giving me an estimate ranging from $300-$500.

Thats sounds like a resonable price range and you dont have to buy HPtuner unless you want to. Btw with a blower the exhaust is gonna be louder but I think you know that, and I mean comparing n/a to s/c on the same setup.
Heres mine:

At least I'll have a reason to be loud lol...
Cat-back exhaust will be done here shortly, already have the parts for a cat-back, header will be done later down the road.
