Cool new 03 Alero GL

well i was perusing cars.com looking for a 2door car. BAM 2 door v6 alero pops up in my face. same color as my four door, same interior as my four door, same wheels and brakes as my four door. its a GL. NO RUST, no problems, 94k miles.

now I do intend on doing some modificationz to this vehicle as i know they can be rather ballsy. plus id much like to own a few of the hondas running around out here seriously LOL at this punk teenager in a 2006+ civic SI with white rims, he got up next to me and started flooring it then slowing down and junk. now im not expert on hondas but i do know that this particular model has a little over 200hp form the factory. my alero has what? maybe 150-160? yea i knew better. plus i had my 5 month old in the back seat. when i get into the v6, i will most likely add a few things then hunt this kid down and teach him a lesson.

enough about my rant, street racing is stupid blah blah blah, long story short, i am picking up my new 03 alero GL on the 31st (tomorrow) and i couldnt be happier. even though i am locked into 4 years of car payments.

I will be taking MANY photos when i get it home. so expect them to be uploaded by the weekend.

(forgot to mention, first "mod" will be de-badging. and maybe minor interior things like painting trim pieces)

im not sure about it being re painted. and the carfax is clean, no accidents or repainting. the paint from the door to the rear quarters does look odd in pictures but it looks normal in person. i spent a few minutes looking under the car, and looking at the subframe and the body, nothing looks like it was damaged at all. so if it was in an accident and it was not reported to carfax then maybe i should take it back to the dealer and tell them to shove it up their ass?

P.S, the hood was popped in the last picture..

honestly i would be terrified if it had been wrecked at some point. I love the car, i would hate to take it back to the dealer.

The paint from the front bumper to the door seams is a different color...like it has been repainted like someone above mentioned. I don't ever trust those carfax reports. I guess as long as it runs fine who cares!!

I think the 3400 is only 175 hp or so stock. Definitely seems like low numbers compared to what they throw around these days.
