it had to have been repainted. its 2 different silvers.

the rear end could have been in a wreck and the body shop probably wasnt able to match the stock color. if it was wrecked

I think it may have just been re painted. i looked every where on the body and can not find any signs of damage.

Also update! I have a cold air intake now and i did the resonator delete and put a grand am GT muffler on.

Why waste the money on a stock muffler

Looks good, def been repainted, very easy to see that. Stock for stock, it's faster than the Civics of the same day, sadly though, by today's standards, it doesn't have that great HP stock. But that can be all fixed

I only put 40 bucks into a really clean muffler. its a cheap way to get the duel exhaust look, and it is louder and deeper then my stock muffler.
I have been thinking about painting the car myself and getting it right. Car was not wrecked at all. so im not sure why they repainted it.
my car gets looks, i am unsure if they are good or bad but people to look. the car has pep for what it is and i enjoy driving it. i just wish it had slightly bigger wheels. -_- the 15s look terrible on this car but for some reason they look fine on my 4 door..

Started removing the moulding trim peices on the doors and rear quarter today. all it took was fishing line and goo gone and a old gift card. i think the car looks cleaner and sleeker with out them.
Now contemplating painting the indents on the doors/quarter panels black. idk.. i should probably solve the terrible paint job issue first.

Update: this saturday i am hitting up the tint shop in henrietta, NY and getting my coupes windows tinted. and i Have this crazy idea to keep the stock grand am GT muffler on my car but have headers, 2.5inch DP , high flow cat and a 2.5Inch cat back. That way i stay some what legal and it will be more.. "sleeper" i guess?. I like the sound of my car as it sits now but i would prefer having higher flowing pipes. If people in honda civics with t4 turbos can utalize a OEM muffler and still produce decent numbers in the dyno, why can't I? Sure it won't flow nearly as much as a 80 series or anything but oh well.

Any thoughts?
