Air horn on eBay
I want to hook up an air horn to my alarm in my car. Make it nice and loud!!!
I would just hook it up to the siren wires but it will probably just be like a constant beep, but I want it you go beep beep beep beep if the alarm goes off.
Will this short out my alarm? Will it blow out any fuses? Wll it work?
I have a "Prestege" alarm (spelled wrong) with the kindey shaped key fob.

aslong as its a two wire hook up it can replace the alarm you have depending that it doesnt pull more amps that control unit on your alarm can put out, cause then you will start blowing fuses at the least.....it doesnt say how many amps it pulls so i could let you know for sure, hooking them both up i dont think id do, just one is a possibility......

Odds are you have a 120db siren. I'm thinking that no one in there right mind would ignore this alarm. Just make sure that its not too sensitive, cuz I'm thinking that a 140db siren could get kinda annoying.

That siren is what my friend has in his 04' EVO, we were in the car and it went off, I freaked out, it's sooo loud, I've never gotten out of a car faster than I did then... NO robber could even stand that, and if you could, I seriously think it would make you go def after a certain amount of time.
