it would have to be an EXTREMELY intense hill to affect the kit... the things you have to watch for with a kit are curbs, potholes, and parking lot entrances... i highly doubt that any civil engineer would make a road that was inpassible with a body kit... that would restrict things like corvettes from driving on them... and with just the kit, it wouldn't be a problem anyway (it doesn't lower your car much at all) if you lowered your car and had a kit... then you really gotta pay attention where you are going...

alright, with stock wheels, and lowering springs. you're looking at about 4-5 inches of clearance.

with my 18's i have about 6 inches of clearance

the worst thing is driveways that are super steep. but, you just take it at an angle, and it's no problem.

natedawg, did you even read the post? he wants to know if it will clear the hills.

Seriously, unless you have really REALLY bad roads, you'll be fine with the kit. You'll just have to drive extra carefully in areas that you know will cause issues (ie: potholes, steep driveway entrances, curbs, etc). If you still haven't bought the kit, keep an eye out for trouble areas now so you're not surprised when you hit them later. (not sure if I worded that in the most satisfying way, but you get my point)

yes i did read his post... that's why for 1: i answered about going where a corvette can go and he shouldn't worry about hills unless they are 80 degree hills in which case he won't be driving a car on it... and 2: why on earth is he asking about dimensions... "dimensions" to me means how wide is the kit, how tall is the kit, what size is the kit... not how high is the kit... if i wanted to know how high the kit is i'd ask how high it is... or how much ground clearance you guys have with the kit on... lowered or not... and yes... he did just post about lambo's... and him being 15 i respect his intrest in it but aside from the knowledge he'll get from our answers i don't think it will amount to much more than that...

so peewee... if you have stock rims and stock suspension... 4-5... if you have 18's... you get about 6 inches... so if you have stock suspension and 17's... somewhere in the middle.

Dont worry about scraping unless you drive like a fool...

EDIT: sorry if i sounded rash or annoyed... i think it's your avatar... something about it bother me... lol :tomato:

lol well put nate, yeah that avatar bothers me as well.....

also, if your 15..... then you don't even have your license yet, meaning, why would you be wanting a body kit in the first place? I know, if your going to be 16 and driving some you would want it, but come on man..... you'd be driving your car with a body kit on it with either mom or pops in the car..... with that being said, im pretty sure you need to be on the road a little bit before putting that stuff on..... curbs will reel you in and there goes your nice looking rims/body kit

if you guys enter the driveway at an angle you shouldn't worry about scraping.

I have a buddy with an eclipse that is literally about 2" off of the ground and he still gets around alright, as long as he is careful. His car is too low, but honestly, the roads here are rough and the parking lot entrances are pretty steep and if he can get around in that, then any can. You just have to learn the car.
