What are you getting metered on, b/c that is definantly not on a termlab. Sorry not to sound like an @ss or anything, but you should really see some of the setups that are hitting in the 160s. Try like over 20k watts, and plenty of subs that have high burp ratings.

ok, now don't laugh at this, but this is a little trick I use to test bass, Deanna Carter - Strawberry Wine, I know it's country, but that has some deep ass bass on it, plus if you're just checking bass you aren't listening to the rest anyway.

If it was a true 167 dB I can promise you wouldnt be able to stand it for long, maybe 5 seconds or so.
Hell thats enough to kill a person, no joke...
Team Wolfpacks car is doing 160 + on 8Kw @ the port. 4 15's... Ta now that was pretty loud. Needs sound dampening and a poly windshield... lol

no the meter is just not accurate, termlab is the most accurate u can get, and is used worldwide at dbdrag and so on. The loudest car so far that holds the world record at the dash is, 179.3 on the termlab , and it is in an extreme vehicle, which means all the windows are poly and bolted, and like all the doors are bolted except for one, which has an air lock on it. If I remember correctly it was done with 4 18's and over 20k watts. DOn't remember all the details though. Most likely you are hitting in the 130's on the termlab.

4 mid line diamond audio 12s and 2 1000d ma amps im havin power issues 2 my dry cell isnt chargin right i need the 2000d amps and i got a couple small air leaks. i think my voltage problem is my alt its the factory 1

yeah that would be your problem, if your getting the 200d's your going to need to upgrade your alt ,most likely. Have you run the big 3? |

For some real bass, you need to look at DJ Andy C, Freaky FLow, Nick Warren, or really and Drum and Bass ablum out there. Why not listen to something that is designed for bass and beat.
