I am trying to finally get my setup going. I just purchased a new Lilliput touchscreen, but I dont know how to get the touchscreen aspect working. any advice or steps on how to do this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

make sure the usb is connected and functioning, and all applicable software/drivers are installed.

theres no seperate usb cord coming from the screen other than the 8 pin plug.... and the multiple inputs usb plug...????

i'm not sure... i just know that the touch feature it's self uses a usb cable and a mouse like controller to pinpoint where you're touching.

Do i possibly have to open the unit up, cut some wires off the 8pin wire and connect those to a USB cord? I just realized thats what was done on this other touchscreen I have....anyone have any ideas?

hmmm, i'd ask aleromaster... or the person you got the first screen from (if it isnt him) i think that phil (voodoosoup) also had one....

Here's a picture of the cable that hooks up to the 8 pin coming off of the Lilliput screen that I have. I has a VGA connector and coming out of that is the USB cable for the touchscreen.

yea thanks! i just figured it out this morning, LMAO like dumbass what else would that USB cord be for! thanks for the help guys! ill get some pics up later when i get the install complete today

Just so you know the one you bought from me was setup like that becasue the controler board craped out on me so I replaced it and had to make a few changes for the radio mount mod.
