Did you reck the joint or did the boot just get a hole in it?

Boot torn! I dunno why. its only that side (passenger) that all of them get a leak in the inner boot.
I've tried them all, Napa, autozone, oreilly's, pep boys. All them leak still.

Huh, yeah I'm bagged and I've already done one but on the driver inner. I'm assuming you got the universal boot made of rubber not the oem plastic one's..

It's just that these cars were not lowered intentionally so the components of suspension/transaxle will not match

no i just change out the whole axle each time. I never do only a boot swap. Lifetime warranty .. just go back to autozone and swap out.

Man, I hate cleaning up that mess that makes. You might see if you can slide the boot closer to the joint and that might make it hold up a little better.

Very very true. When I get back on the road next year I might just have to do a little dance.

I had the same thing happen on my airbagged Ciera..and yes that mess it horrible to clean. I belive the combo of riding low and 13x7's was also responsible for blowing its tranny....getting a new one and blowing some gear in it. At least they covered the Gear replacement.

alright, I'm not the smartest guy when it comes to lowered suspensions....but I can tell you I had a Baja Beetle that had extreme range of motion on the axles/CV's, under seriously abusive conditions. I'd try an off-road shop for some hardcore "split" CV boots. Not to mention you dont have to remove the axles if you had to change them.
