Will this CAI work with my 2.2L Ecotec?

Sorry I'm a noob but I've heard that some caviler parts are compatible with the Alero.

Well, that site has a cookie based selection, so not everyone will see the one you suggested.

The Cavalier 2.4 is compatible with the 2.4l Twin cam Alero, since they both run the LD9.

For your, You want to use the 2.2l Ecotec that's in the Cobalt.

Don't buy AEM, Unless you like paying 100 bucks for a Sticker. then go for it.

Same performance from a E-bay CAI.

Thanx. You know how the Aleros have the split muffler tip what would be a way to get rid of that need suggestions. I have an idea that it needs the muffler replacement.

Haha, Turbo, Supercharger, New exhaust setup are the more extreme.

Go with plugs and wires. Use new delcos, or get some NGK plugs, Avoid the Bosch plugs for the most part, alot of people have had trouble.

Some people will also recommend the AEM bypass valve, to be used in the event your CAI gets submerged in water for about 3 seconds to allow it to suck up water.

Not something most people need to worry about, but I used a WAI since I live in Canada, and I'm sure my WAI will suck in Snow. So yea.

See I live in New York so yeah IDK. WAI or CAI, I forgot the difference.

That one will require a little modification to clear the washer tank. It will work though. I have it.

AEM is a huge ripoff. if u search cai on this site there are way cheaper ways to go. as for your exhaust question, just ditch the restrictive stock muffler. Magnalfow, flowmaster, borla, and many others make nice through flow mufflers that look and sound better. (please, no cherry bomb.....shudder).
