Lame dude, I was almost hit the other day whilst sitting in a parking space, some jerk off in a new civic. He decided he was gonna try and look cool and back into a spot and almost smacked my rear bumper.

ok so its not that bad, do you plan on going through insurance companies??, i suggest yes due to cost out of your pocket, as this is a 1,000 dollar repair, could be more

door is fixable no need for a skin, i would do it for 6 hours, all the r&i work on the door and right fender, "x" amount for labor, plus taxe plus wet sand buff, cover car, blah blah blah,..................or just pay your deductable and have no worries

Srlsy $1000? I would figure you could just remove the iner door trim and the speaker, and pop the dent out.

Ahah, now your front passenger matches my rear driver side from the little bitch trying to be cool with a car full of friends on the first day with her license, hitting my car while parked in my designated parking spot, me nowhere near it.

lol HELL NO!!! LOL

do you not see the metal is pretty creased?? this is not a small dent dude, yes i can work the dent out from inside the door, thats how i work dents out, and where my tools cant get to then i use my stud puller, to get the rest of the dent out

as a rule of thumb its usally one coat of bondo, and then a finish coat of glaze, anything more ya got a problem and shouldnt be fixing cars for a living after all it is only metal

and again do you think we work for free??? no we dont so lets do the math shall we...................................
repair the door=6 body labor hours=65 an hour
paint time=56 an hour=this is about 5-6hour paint time
all the removing and reinstalling of parts=body labor=65 an hour
just the door is about 2 hours or r&i work, plus the fender= r&i headlight/fender liner/and drop the side of the bumper down, ya we get paid for everything
wet sand and buff=2 hours at 56 an hour=paint time
plus tax in your area/plus cover car/plus hazordous material, plus material cost=a good guess is about 500 bucks

add all that up and ya got your rough estimate

thats why i said pay your dedutcable and be done with it

This is why bdyman is the expert and you are not.

Sucks though to see you got backed into. My car got backed into by a truck and his hitch put a hole in my rear bumper as well as chipped the paint.

And this is why I'd take the job to the illegals down the road who can do it for $200-300

I only have liability, but I will be going through her insurance. At my age anything above liability is outragously expensive.

Well ask any ricer and they will say it's the first sport compact

WRONG: First Sport Compact due to it's defention would be the 1991 442

It was however the first 4 cyl car to break the $20K mark

Really? I would've thought it would've been more along the lines of the Citation X11 (I think that was the first FWD with a spoiler too)

Maybe the anything off topic section in which you can post anything that is off topic. Or appearance.
