Just take off the whole intake and hook up one of those Ionic Breeze air purifiers near the throttle body. Put the IAT sensor in the wheel well.

Ok for the last time.....................there are ONLY 2 CAI for the 2.4
Induction Dynamics
APOC ( not sure if they still make them)
everything else (AEM, Weapon R, ebay, etc) are WAI

i recommend the induction dynamics because it is CAI and gives it a nice sound and decent performance.

CAI , jack the left front side up , remove the tire and the wheel well liner just to the front of where the wheel was but inside the front bumper is where the intake filter will go pipe runs up from there just behind the battery I believe and over to the throttle body ( there are pics of this in the how to section I believe.)

hey oldsman, i just noticed your awesome engine pics. Very nice. With that 2.3 manifold am i able to still have the induction dynamics intake or do you just have to position it differently?? just wondering, i don't have the 2.3 manifold but it looks very nice. I am interested in upgrading my performance mods so just glad to see that pic of yours. And what will that exactly do for my car and do you need any other mods to install that??? again thanks for all your help. Sorry for asking all these questions....

i am using the ID CAI with the 2.3 manifold. the manifold gives you more hp in the mid to top end. when upgrading to the manifold also go with the 2.3 HO TB which is 56mm. it is a good N/A combo.

from RSM? hell no. my 62mm TB is an RSM one and i got from a j-body guy and only payed $150 for it and after seeing it i would not spend the money for a rsm TB. also the 62mm TB is not the best for N/A.
2.3 manifold is from a j-body guy which came from a junkyard off a 2.3 quad 4 HO. the 56mm TB is also off a 2.3 quad 4 HO. there was a guy on here selling manifold and TB for good price. check out the bazaar.
