Yesterday after it rained I plowed through a huge puddle. Then like an hour later my security light came on then my SVS light, then ALL of the hey stupid somethings wrong lights came on, and all my guages died, along with the A/C. Car drove fine like nothing was wrong, so im guessing its an electrical problem from the puddle.

BUT after maybe 1hr-1hr1/2 the gauges started to work, then cut off, and now everythings back to normal.

my ? is should I get this looked at and or replaced, or since everythings fine now, just let it be and hope it doesn't do it again?

um if it SEEMS to be working fine, then i would leave it for a day or so and if its still working fine, then you can put it down to water...

this has nothing to do with water, but i have the same problem at times especially on really hot days, it may be an ignition switch problem just beginning to show, i have a new just haven't installed it yet.

it wasn't hot out that day, it was raining.

And how would an ignition switch problem effect my gauges and a/c and shat?

at random times, when i strt my car none of the accesories come on, i have to either drive or just wait a few seconds, i've gotten impatient and tapped on the key a couple times to get it all to come on, it really sucks when its 98 degrees outside and 120 inside.

something happens inside the ign switch. and it won't contact properly, i,ve even had all my a/c, guages, radar and other accesories go out while driving down the road, and then come back on, its a bad connect inside my ign switch.
