Do you even have an alero? Go look underneath it.

Apparently not as well as I do
Theres little black skirts that hang down in front of the corners of the bumpers. The plastic attached to these holds the entire car together.

Welp, I figured out what happened. I was replacing the horn today, and while I had the headlight out, I could see the damaged areas of the bumper had been previously glassed from the inside. So it was past damage that reappeared from too much stress on the repair.

to correct you in you incorrect statements you made, the re-bar is plastci, PP to be exact, and we dont fiberglass plastic bumper, especially tpo, tpe, teo, which gm used on our cars since 1999
a correctly repaired plastic will even hold up the the minumal impact so looks like the bumper was repaired the wrong way
this looks like it was last yr are you goin through insurance??? there is always more damage , so what are you goin to do ,, i suggest goin through insuracne, pay your dedutcable, you pay out of pocket this is goin to get real expensive

I have a new matching bumper cover waiting whenever I'm ready to install it. Thanks for your input.

Someone from Canada, (Don't remember his name) made one of the shirts out of a peice of sheetmetal, It looked real good and I want one. It apparently was easy and cheap to make, but I have no access to the resources to make it.
Mine is tore to shit too.

A racoon wrecked my whole front nose cone. The whole pice is loose, the center piece at the bottom is completly gone. The plastic air dam was removed by my wife on a curb. Drive it everyday something is gonna happen. My alero is way overdue for bodywork.
