Help, Extreme Shaking

Ok so I'm starting off by saying that my rear driver side tire loses air and is most likely on the rim wrong. My car is shaking horribly at speeds of 55. At 65, Im afraid to continue driving. Would a poor tire balance account for the shaking? Bear in mind, I did not have the problem yesterday and added air when I got home with my air compressor last night and saw this. Could adding air to a poorly balanced tire account for this?
Any answers are appreciated.

maybe a weight fell off

maybe your lug nuts are loose

maybe the tire's not on right

Check the lugs first. If those are okay than it should at least be driveable at low speeds until you get it checked out.

Is the shaking coming from the rear? I'm pretty sure our cars can get aligned in the rear as well as the front. Maybe your rear alignment is off? It might just be the wheel, but from what you are describing, it seems like it might be more than a missing weight. do you have the aluminum rims, or steelies?

did you forget to re torque your wheels?

Torquing the lugs was the first thing I did. It is possible a weight fell off. Also, the tire is poorly balanced, but the shaking started after I added air.
Think I should run it flat until I figure it out? Bear in mind, I ran it flat all of last year.

i dont think it would've been a weight that fell off...it would cause vibrations but nothing extreme. Most likely the rim is bent and/or something is stripped or wore down from improper tightening of lugs...then again i may be just blowing smoke out my ass

I dunno I mean I think it really wouldnt be a weight issue, cause it would vibrate but not to the point that your scared to drive it unless they had alot of weight on it, really sounding like that its gonna be something with the wheel, or it may even be the tire if you have a flat spot on it from like braking really hard and locking the tires and skidding on that one spot
