Wheel Bearing suspicion....

Steady grinding near the front left side of the car...
can be described as follows:
my speed increases, the rapidness of the grinding increases. if i go slow the opposite happens...
anyone concur? I would wait for the tell-all lights to come on, but this sounds REALLY bad...

comanche is an unknown quantity at this point
I have had identical symptoms with bad wheel bearings on more than one car.

here's what you do, jack the car up next to the suspected wheel, if it off the ground and you can shake it back and forth, you need a new wheel bearing....Thanks, Kyle
