Lowering a Car Myths
Ok, so I'm just gettin the eibach prokit...
I'm gettin an alignment and such after, but do I need camber kits to ensure that I'm not unevenly wearing my tires?
I know theres rumors and such on this, but let me know!!1
Thanks!

I did use them thou.
Eibachs only require one kit, if you are going to use them

The lower you go, the more you'll mess up the camber.
recommened: one camber kit for every inch, max of 2 inches

yes, anytime you change ride height you need an alignment

You don't need an alignment.

I'm getting an alignment when I lower mine cause I got to change an outer tie rod end I guess I have two reasons to get it done after.

Technically once you alter a car's height form stock the geometry is different so aligments will only get it "close".. or so I've been told in my classes.
Regardless, I wouldn't worry about camber wear much.. unless it's extreme it shouldn't hurt the tires a lot.. I drive with the back tires on the Buick looking like / \ on the freeway and they still haven't worn funny.
Toe.. now that you want to get looked at. Easy to throw off and that'll really eat your tires fast.

Any time you mess with most suspension components you will need an alignment. Even if you did not change the ride height just removing the struts will require an alignment afterwards.
