Good deal on JL Subs?

My buddy has two 10w1v2's in boxes he's selling, and said he would sell both to me for $200 CAD. They are mint, and only selling cuz his amp crapped out, and is strapped for cash. Would this be a good buy?

The cheapest you'll find them online/warrantied is $100.00 a sub. So if you are set and WANT to buy them, it's gonna be the same as online/new except they are probably already in their cute little sealed boxes. Honestly, you can do a lot better for $200.00 man...

yes and no honestly.. they are good subs. but the best ones are the w6's and w7's w1's arent all that great. all up to you.

If they are close to brand new its an OK deal.

If they are more than a year old I would offer him $125 tops on them.
