Rough run at COLD start up

Just started having rough run issue at cold start up, with a 2002 Alero GL Coupe 3400 V6

Cold start rough run, until rpm raised over idle speed.

Only happens during cold idle only, and goes away completely after 5 minutes of run time?

IAC motor possiby? anyone else have this problem?

NO Service Engine Soon light (New plugs 3000 miles ago, autolite double platinums)

back three plug wires seperated from connectors at plugs when pulled.

those three wires were repaired (reattached)

again idle speed is rough and stumbly (feels like missfires) at COLD start up only, but GOES AWAY off idle when rpm is increased.

No other run problems after engine warms after about 3 minutes.

Problem ceases to exsist after about 3 minutes run time, and reoccurs after engine is shut down for 1/2 hour and repeats after restart on cold engine

IS this a symptom of a bad or failing IAC motor?

mileage is at 77k
