Looks like i"ll be grabbing those then.

Now another question... While I have the doors torn apart, is there a easy to find/ cheap sound deadening material I can thrown in there while Im at it?

Out of curiosity, how well would the stuff that you put underneath laminate and carpet floors do to kill road noise? Like this,

Forget all of that nonsense, I found this stuff:

http://www.lowes.com/pd_28929-1410-F...g&facetInf o=

I did some googling and aparently alot of people use this stuff for sound deadning and insulation for cars. I found people using it on just about anything from Corvettes to Camaros to Maximas lol. I will def grab a roll of this stuff and see how it goes.

^iv heard of a lot of people using that and it working good for installation. good grab on the rockfords. personally iv never had a good experience with newegg myself but they are just the supplier of course. I hear good things about rockfords but have never got to hear them myself... personally Im still an apline guy. BUT with those 6 1/2 speakers you'll have to custom mount. I recamend a 2" plate then cut it with the curv of the door panel and shave as much off the panel as you can. I have the 2011 type r with the new coil and smaller magnet for you may need to trim your mount differently but heres a pic of mine. make you clear the window and that the speaker wont hit the door panel at volumes. I know some guys mount with the grill on it to be sure but depending, you might not have room.

They do look very deep, cruchfeild says they are about 2 5/8" deep. It will be a tight ass fit. Ima take some measurements before I buy them just to be sure.
