give me a best price here for a pod to hold 2 12" subs in whatever configuration will be cheapest and best. Thanks a lot, im really debating whether trunk space is THIS important to me, this cash could go to some other good stuff.

looks like a good idea, but if you really wanna make some money.... make a couple sacrifices and build the whole thing.... there'll be plenty of people that would buy em to make it well worth your time.. i personally wouldnt want that setup, i like the subs next to the back seat so personally i would do somethin else, but this seems to be a hot commodity!!!

like i said earlier. if i build the whole thing it will be way more than 175. ill have 175 in materials alone.
now if i do the whole enclosure how would you guys like to see the subs pointing? what direction

the thing is, no one will want just the pocket. if they have the time/know how to finish off after the pocket, they'll do it from scratch to start with

you're gonna have too many variations if you try building the whole enclosure, because every sub has different volume specs. And like mike2002 said, if you got the time to finish it off, then one more days work and you could start from scratch. Nice job tho, thats how big mine are gonna be, from edge of the spare tire well to the top edge of the trunk. I'm gonna lay matting down first too, before i lay down the tape for the back of the enclosure, so that the enclosure fits in nice and snug. Nice job tho.
And being able to use your whole trunk is a luxury you'll miss if you just dump a box in the trunk, trust me you'll miss it when its gone.

I would be interested in a full corner enclosure, but the airspace for my subs would have to be correct, and doing different boxes for different people might get expensive and time consuming.

I agree, I am in the middle of making two pods each for 10 infinitys and have thought about this as well and the longer that the process goes on the less likely I would be interested in making them for other people. Besides man, then the only people that have need custom enclosures are the ones with cash to burn (pay someone else) or no hair left on their arms from the experience of learnign fibreglass
