tail light tint cover

i just found this on ebay, do you guys recomend it or should i just buy the nite shade paint?

thats what i want, easier to remove. im not a big fan of painting thing ( interor trim,lights, etc)

i hope it is not that dark tho.

yeah thats what i thought too. just wasnt sure if it was cheaper. do any of you have the link on "how to" paint the tail lights? thanks.

these are pictures of my car with that cling stuff, it really doesnt matter what you do but i would use the tint instead of the paint, because if you ever get a ticket or whatnot for it, you can easily remove the tint, rather then spending $150 on new rear tails.

u just got a message from gr1m. he says its 20% and that he got it at a local sound and security shop installed for $125. hope this info helps.

its like $10 a roll .

yeah, it does seem pricy. will regular window tint work just as good? that isnt too hard to take off is it?

all you should need is tint get a roll so you can try a couple times. and a heat gun. take tails out clean very very well take a heat gun and warm the tint up. pull the clear pasic off. warm it up again now spray soapy water on the tail and lay the sheet of tint on the tail get a squgey and spread it out get all the water out and bubbles now trim you excess off....
also first step is cutting it close to the corrct size..

I want to do that but I painted my tails. I dont like it now so I have to wet sand it. will it still look good if I wet sand and then lay the tint over?

you need to heat it for the tail light curve. like doing a back window in a alero
