thump on hard acceleration, Rear transmission mount?

My 03 v6 has had an issue when accelerating hard locked in 1st or 2nd it will thump if you let off and then give it more gas. Motor mount is new (2 months old). Today I replaced the front transmission mount that was starting to tear. Got it all bback together and it still does it . I started to take the rear mount off to replace the insert on that one too but I can’t figure out how to get the bottom bolt out. There is not even enough room to get a short socket on there. Has anyone else replaced the insert on their rear transmission mount?

It looks like the service manual directs you to do this through the left front wheel well.

I remember removing the bracket that attaches to the subframe on mine.. A manual trans, but still the same style mounting.

I did see that it says that you should take the wheel off then the mount comes out the wheel well. i looked at taking the bottom bracket off as well but my problem is there is not enough room between the sub frame and bolt to get a socket and when there torqued to 89 FT-Lbs :/. Hmm maybe I should try unbolting the through pin and loosening up the motor mount so i can tilt the whole engine forward? I will put her back up and post a pic latter of what I am talking about.

You can lower the subframe down a bit too if that helps...

The front is not that bad just have to do some maneuvering around the wires. If I can ever find my camera charger I will take pics when I do it this weekend.

Ok im.just curious cause im tired of blowing transmission mounts out. Does it do any good to fill the mounts with polyurethane to strengthen them up or is it just a waste of money?? I can get the urethane pretty cheap at home depot, (like $4.75 a tube). The mounts are a headache to change repeatedly as they are press in style. The closest shop that has a press is like 15 miles away and getting a ride is a real pain..
