squal

ok well i have a high pitched squal coming from the pulley area, its not the belt so i thought it was the ideler pulley i i changed it any ideas cant the water pump make that noise and the sound coming from the front of the pulley system

Turn your AC on and see if it stops. The clutches I believe can make some pretty good noise when they are going bad. My Cutlass used to squeal like a beast, and when I turned the AC on it was solved because it ingauges the clutches.

check your crank pulley, with the car running see if it looks like its wobbling. i just had to replace mine last week for the same problem.
