I've lowered my ride by 1.3 F and 1.2 R. Now two year after my factory shock are finished...Anyone has any idea which shock I should purchase in order to bring back the comfort without sacrificing too much on the handling.

Thnaks

I went with KYB GR-2 struts with my Eibach's and maintained decent ride quality (firmer than stock, but no need for a kidney belt) with much improved handling.

I got mine at TireRack, I think they were about $60 ea. It's been nearly a year since I got 'em, so I really don't remember for sure. I paid a shop $100 to change the struts, springs and put in the STB's, though. Hope that helps.

KYB's and Eibachs here too, and doing great.

PFYC for the KYB's, I think I paid $250 for the set.

My mech was MIA at the time, $350 at the dealer, but he would have charged $100

sorry to hijack, but its a suspension related question. if you lower your car w/ stock struts and get an alignment and then change the struts out later, do you need to get another alignment?

are the shocks blue or are the struts blue? if it's the struts then you probably have sprint or springtech, and that would also account for your car being much lower than a stock alero

We only have struts, not shocks.
Chances are someone painted them, nobody makes blue struts.
